The Editing Process
-
To send your manuscript you can either attach it to an email or submit it online.
- We will send you a quotation.
- You can accept or reject the quotation.
- The editor selected for your manuscript will make all necessary changes using the tracking format. Any queries/comments/suggestions that the editor makes will be inserted as comments within your manuscript.
- When you receive your edited manuscript you can do one of two things:
- You can either accept or reject all changes, or
- You can review all the changes made and accept or reject each change as you go along. This can be useful as a learning process for future manuscript preparation.
- Once you have reviewed the changes and comments you again have two options:
- If you are happy with the finished product you can send it to your potential publisher, or
- You can return it to us and we will review the changes at NO EXTRA CHARGE (if you have added a significant amount of text that requires further editing we may have to charge a minimal rate for re-editing. We will let you know the exact charge before we do this and we will NOT surprise you with additional costs).
